USING HEALTH INSURANCE/BILLING:
Many of the services that Advance Therapy provides are covered by health insurance and we are contracted with most major carriers. We will help you determine the benefits offered under your policy and we will bill your insurance company for you, but ultimately you are responsible for understanding your health insurance plan and submitting payment for fees that are not covered. If prior authorization is need before providing services, we will typically submit all necessary documentation.
Advance Therapy partners with Great Lakes Medical Billing (877-692-5484 billing@greatlakesmb.com) to help us understand the benefits under your plan. They send out invoices for your portion of the payments on a monthly basis and they are due within 30 days of statement date. Also, you may often use a Health Savings Account to pay for our services.
Please note: Advance Therapy offers one rate when paying with credit/debit cards and a lower rate when paying with cash/check. Effective 1/1/25: Overdue balances (received later than 30 days from statement date) on any account will be charged to your credit card on file at the 3.95% non-cash rate with a $25 late fee per account. Please see Financial Agreement for details.
